Responsive Website for PMI Poland Chapter Mentoring Program
This project was delivered for a non-profit organization to redesign the PMI Poland Chapter Mentoring Program website. The primary goal was to improve navigation, present the mentoring process more clearly, and make it easier for users to find mentors, webinars, and program information across all devices.
Due to limited time and budget, formal user research was not conducted. Design decisions were based on an analysis of the existing website, Nielsen's usability heuristics, accessibility (WCAG AA), and UX best practices
PROBLEM
The existing website contained a large amount of content, making it difficult for users to quickly find relevant information. The information architecture lacked clear hierarchy, navigation was inconsistent, and the mentoring process was not communicated effectively. The website also required improvements in responsiveness and accessibility.

After creating low-fidelity wireframes for the main flows, focused on structure and real content, we progressed to high-fidelity wireframes. During this stage, we established the visual identity, including typography and a color system aligned with the brand guidelines while following UI best practices
Key Design Decision
Making the mentoring process easier to understand
To improve clarity, I designed a dedicated timeline that divides the mentoring program into six clearly numbered stages. Each stage includes a concise description and its corresponding timeframe, allowing users to quickly understand the entire process at a glance.
This solution reduces cognitive load, improves information hierarchy, and helps both mentors and mentees easily identify the current and upcoming stages of the program.
Improving webinar findability
As the number of webinars continues to grow, finding relevant content becomes increasingly challenging. To address this, I designed a filtering experience that enables users to quickly refine results by webinar status and topic.
The selected filters remain visible as chips, making the current search context easy to understand and modify. A dedicated "Clear all" option allows users to reset filters with a single action, creating a simple and efficient browsing experience.
This approach supports progressive content growth while maintaining an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
